What does self-care really look like and how do we fit it into our everyday lives? The message we typically get from society is that we have to spend a lot of money or time on self-care by having a spa day, pedicure/manicure, massage, bodywork, or taking a big vacation. While all these things are nice they also cost a lot of money or take a lot of time.
In this presentation we discuss self-care in real time on a real budget. We will look at the role of mindset, breath and humor to actively engage in self-care as well as the impact of exercise, relaxation, and stress management techniques.
Self-care is about building a life you don’t have to regularly escape from and it shouldn’t break your bank either.
