Parent engagement is really people engagement – the entire family of the child, the staff, and the organization as a whole. Engagement is an ongoing process that needs focus and attention and is the direct result of authentic relationships and a shared vision.
The ideas in this presentation are based on three themes: relationships, responsibility and intentions. We will discuss how cultivating positive relationships changes the culture of an organization, why taking responsibility for our actions and our role in society is so important, and how our intentions can turn into tangible, meaningful actions.
This presentation can be modified depending on age group and is for organizations starting with ECE all the way through high school.
