Educators are mandatory reporters under Colorado statute. This means that you are legally required to take action and report reasonable suspicions of child abuse, maltreatment or neglect to the proper authorities. As a person working
in an educational setting you are on the front lines of preventing child abuse and neglect.
Although required to report, many educators feel ill-equipped to adequately respond to a situation where mandatory reporting is necessary.
In this presentation educators will learn the tools necessary not only to meet their mandatory obligation to report, but to do so with confidence.
